Just remember, this guy is going to say whatever he thinks he needs to say to get you to stop looking at the Fed. Oh, we’re not that powerful! Yes, we’re as concerned as you are! No, there won’t be a QE3, of course not!
This guy can’t be trusted any more than Cousin Lucius when the Aurors come and ask him about possible Death Eater activity.
Now, if only we had some ruddy Veritaserum . . .
