A fair amount of activity. I had expected some, but not this much– I’ve noticed that I tend to underestimate, I think as a reaction to the habit of some people to overestimate.

Thank you. Is that size normal for those parts, or was it notable? Being on the east coast, anything above 3.9 is notable for us . . .

Not speaking for Freedom, but when we were in NoCal, anything above 4.0 was generally noticed, but after major quakes (like the Loma Prieta – Whoa!) the hundreds of 4 and 5 level shocks tend to go unnoticed, unless (like me sometimes) you happen to be on a ladder or an upper floor of a flimsy building, then it’s a passing notice. If I remember right, a 5.6 might wake you up and raise some dust.
