14 March 2012, Feast of St. Matilda of Saxony

1) St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

2) Yes, I have emails to catch up on, some of them weeks behind when I should have written them.

3) Somewhat related to #2: Apparently, Naruto Shippuden on Hulu is subtitled. This is not a bad thing but. . . it means that I cannot catch up on the series while doing other things, as my Japanese is currently minimal and so therefore I kinda hafta pay attention to the subtitles if I want to follow. . . one good side effect– I’m already picking up on a few words, lol. If I could dig out my old Japanese textbook and binder from high school, I’d prolly bring most of that back, and then start picking up on even more. Of course, it would be full of slang and “–attebayo“s and “–attene“s, but as long as I keep in mind that I’m too old for such silliness, I should be fine, ne? Oh, and I’ll need to remember that “Ore” is generally not a word used by ladies, unless I want to be utterly masculine. . .
