Maybe you don’t know what’s going on with the Bundy Family out in Nevada. You should. This is very troubling. As noted by GruntofMonteCristo over at 4GFC, “Gov. Sandoval’s protests show that this is much more than a BLM land-use issue or an individual rights issue. This is a “States-Against-the-Feds” issue. If the states had ANY sovereignty at all, this could never happen. The Feds are out of control.”
Chrissy The Hyphenated has been studying the Book of Revelation and The Olivet Discourse over the past months, and as a result, has been keeping her eye on various happenings. By now, most everyone knows about the coming Blood Moon Tetrad. She’s got some additional data points to be added, here.
Also: Why aren’t we hearing about the worldwide slaughter of Christians?
Nothing says we have severe corruption problems with our gov’t than this: Elijah Cummings (D), ranking member of House IRS Oversight Committee, colluded with IRS to target True The Vote. No wonder he’s been so testy in the hearings lately.
The Problem of Junk Science. Part of the problem fostering the increase of junk science has been the blurring of lines between “Junk” science and “Valid” science. The once-“valid” science of Anthropogenic Global Warming has been thoroughly discredited, but still has an undue influence on public policy. As a result, this discredited “science” has destroyed jobs, economies, and the lives of hard working people across the globe, in addition to keeping the poor poor, keeping poor nations from developing their natural resources. . . In addition to the AGW Scam, is the now discredited nutrition “science” that was shoved down everyone’s throats in the 1980s and 1990s– this is junk science that still influences the governments established criteria for “good nutrition”. This crap science created and nurtured the obesity and diabetes “epidemics”– making millions of Americans unwell, contributing to spikes in heart attacks and strokes, ultimately, killing people. . . and they wonder why people don’t trust the Scientist High Priests anymore? If the scientific establishment is truly concerned about the rise in popularity of junk science, perhaps to ought to see to its own problems first. Work to re-establish the squandered trust, and then maybe you’ll be able to do something about the rest of the “Junk Science”
Hey, fellow nerds! Here are some pretty cool workouts with themes like “Ironman,”, “Bring me some Pie!”, “Run you silly boy, and remember” and “Aim to Misbehave”. among many others. . .
Great news focus.

Thanks Grunt. They’re doing okay– the new place has been great, with the normal “post-move-in” discoveries like suddenly having to replace the entire HVAC system soon after moving in. . . But it’s all in stride, and she’s got her garden going (I haven’t even started yet, this year). . .

Oh yeah– Suspicious0bservers is hands down my favorite “science-oriented” channel on YouTube. They are going to be featured quite a bit in my upcoming science series. I’ve been watching their daily updates for years, now, and they are solid–quick to post corrections, acknowledge errors, etc. . .

Willingness to acknowledge and correct is what I look for too. When I’m scoping out a new on-line seller, I like to check the negative reviews to see what kind of problems happened, but more importantly what the seller did about it.
