09 April 2014 News

Here’s a good way to take advantage of our overload of lawyers. Sue the schools that abuse our children.

If there is only one thing you read today, read about these amazing, heart wrenching efforts to save children from sex slavery rings.

[While we’re on the subject, let me just note that I hate the term “Human trafficking”. Even if it’s technically correct, it seems to me to be a politically correct softening  of the term “Slavery”. That’s what this is, plain as day. We should name it with the ugliest terms we have. We should be absolutely clear what we’re talking about. This is slavery. The people who do it are slavers. Those who support it in any way are supporting the slave trade.]

LuciMy favorite actor of Lucifer calls out Obamacare over its attack on freedom of conscience. Turns out, he’s a bit of a libertarian. Who knew?

Also inappropriate: Strippers at nursing homes. Really? Ugh. Like Mrs. Scalia, I’m not comfortable with strippers in general as it is, for pretty much the reasons  she notes. How crass and insensitive do you have to be to call them into a nursing home?

This is gonna make my job even more tedious. Let’s just add more red tape. That’ll help women. . .

The American Covenant

The Warning

It started 31 January 2012. According to my journal, Gold was $1,747.04/ oz that morning, and silver was $33.66/oz. The rest of the entry for that morning reads as follows:

Jay Carney says WH has no rush re: Iran. Since the man is a liar, we may assume the opposite.

FL primary today.

Rumor Mill News

Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn The Harbinger

Debka is reporting that Syrian Prez Bashar Assad may start regional war if UN tells him to step down.

One of these things is not quite like the others. . . that day, in the morning, I’d come across an interview with Rabbi Cahn on YouTube, and it “pinged” in my brain. Something made me take notice. I run across odd, cool and crazy things on YouTube all the time. Sometimes I post them on my blog. But this was different enough to have me scribbling a note in my journal with ink on paper– a more real “noting of” than simply copy/pasting electrons via computer. So I scribbled it down and put it out of my mind.

On 12 March 2012, in addition to my usual market entries, I wrote the following

On Saturday, bought a new pair of work shoes (1st time in 3 years). Then on a whim, went to the neighboring bookstore. There, in front, on display, was that book I’d noticed a couple of weeks ago –> The Harbinger. So, I bought it, and just finished reading it. And it’s very troubling. Ref. Isaiah 9:10-12, in relation to events of 9/11 and all that follows. Crap–> this means responsibility of some nature that I must uphold.

[Oddly enough, that was the last entry until near the end of June, even though the journal is always in my bag.] Due to my experiences in life, when something presents itself before me and sticks in my brain, I make note of it. When it keeps presenting itself, I take that as a message from above, that He wants me to take notice. It would be a long, long tale to describe that training, but He trained me thusly, and so this is how I respond.

It’s odd, for me, as a Catholic. Prophesy and things related are generally avoided, save those referring to Jesus. End-times prophesy is so very. . . protestant, you know. Best to not meddle around with trying to interpret anything. Que sera, sera, and all that. But then, I’ve always been the nutter in the choir loft, and I’ve had a passion for all the “Strange but True” stories featured on Unsolved Mysteries and The X Files. So I never really followed the traditional Catholic manner of dealing with the Book of Revelation or various Old Testament Texts. To my mind, too many theologians have been involved in the Catholic view of such things. There’s a strain of Catholicism (to which I have long exposure) that holds that Biblical Prophesy has been fulfilled, or else is not to be interpreted, because we’d just get it wrong anyway. This same strain looks askance at the events of Fatima and buys the Vatican line about the 3rd Secret.

So you can imagine that when contemplating ideas bridging ancient Israel to modern America, the voices of 500 theologians (and the dubious eyebrows of my father) cry out all at once in my head. But luckily, my inner musician rises up in reply and says “If the melody and chord progression are the same, the rhythm similar, it means it’s the same Opus, by the same Composer!”

For instance, when I first saw The Fellowship of the Ring in the movie theater, I realized before I saw the credits that the composer of the soundtrack was the same guy who composed the soundtrack for The Matrix. How did I realize this? Because Howard Shore, the composer, used a chord, broken into an descending arpeggio descending for The Matrix, and used the same chord, broken but ascending, for Lord of the Rings. It was a signature. It was possible that the music was written by two separate people– but unlikely. My ear heard that one pattern was simply the inversion of the other, and identified it as the work of the same person.

Because of this musical training, I’m pretty good at spotting patterns. If someone else spots the pattern and points it out, I can validate it pretty quickly. This is what happened with the book mentioned above. Rabbi Cahn noted a pattern between the events starting around Isaiah 9:10, and their super-eerie correspondence to the exact same things happening with 9/11 and the events that followed. There is a clear pattern shown, a pattern even more detailed thanks to Rabbi Cahn’s Jewish background and understanding of the Jewish Calendar and traditions.

I’ll not spell out the pattern int his post– if you are interested, that can be another post. Or you can get the book yourself. However, the main point, at least as far as this particular essay goes, is this: That God is very much active in the events around us, That God is very much involved in the continuing history of the American people, and that God is very much trying to get our stupid, wandering attention, and we really ought to start paying Him some mind. . .

The Covenant

Having read that book in the spring, it’s implications knocking around in my skull for a few months, I was well primed when about a month ago, I heard of another book, this one called The Covenant: America’s Sacred and Immutable Connection to Ancient Israel, by Timothy Ballard. [Allow me to give a few disclaimers: First, I have not yet finished the book, so what I write today is based upon what I have read so far. Second, this book was a re-write of two other books that had been written for an LDS readership– Ballard removed all the LDS material for this book so that it would be accessible to a broader audience. Third– the author references the writings and research of other authors. I’ve not had the chance to check out these writings, though I’m interested, so I cannot say, for myself, how trustworthy these sources are. That said, the ideas presented are intriguing and worth considering, so I cannot dismiss them outright.]

Basically, The Covenant takes the microcosmic idea of The Harbinger and enlarges it– not only is 9/11 an echo of past events– the entire history of America is tied with that of Ancient Israel (which is why the Harbingers show themselves now as they did then). Ballard (this is where he references works and authors I’m unfamiliar with) starts with the Old Testament prophesies concerning the descendants of Joseph– the famed lost tribes of Israel, who disappear from canon before the prophesies are fulfilled. Through hints found in linguistics and archaeology, Ballard theorizes some of the movements of these lost tribes northwest through Europe. Then using the writings of Columbus and others, he shows how the discovery, settlement, and Founding of America were always seen as something ordained by God in the Bible, and that God was active in the discovery, settling and founding of the nation.

This then explains American Exceptionalism, the instinctive feeling of kinship with modern day Israel and the near obsessive need many American’s feel to protect Israel, the need to reawaken our common religious sensibilities, whatever our religion may be, and why we absolutely, positively, cannot allow the secularists to have their way in removing God from the American Consciousness. This is why it is so very important for all Americans to know and understand the words of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution/ Bill of Rights– these are the documents that write out the American Covenant. These set up the human half of the equation– they state who we are as a people, what we desire, and the rules which shall bind the powerful among us. In return, just as with Ancient Israel, God will bless us with protection (life), liberty, and prosperity (the pursuit of happiness). However, should our part of the Covenant be broken, should we forget our part, God will withdraw His blessings not so much to punish us, but to get our attention, to remind us of the covenant, and to call us back to Himself.

Zophiel’s Ponderings

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to being very intrigued with the idea. I can’t say I entirely buy it (those 500 theologians would make my head explode if I tried) . . . honestly, I have more research to do before I can properly weigh various arguments and make my decision on what I believe in this regard.  However, it is worth considering as we look at the tragedies befalling our dear nation everyday. When we see all three branches of our government betray us, our economy stumbling and crawling, our news peppered with reports of flesh-eating zombie-people and the reports aren’t jokes. When we consider the old-guard “conservatives” who focused more on policy with a mention of religious texts much like one would reference any other work or literature, when we consider just what is being taught in our schools– and not taught.

But here’s what it comes down to. I’ve read the fist book, am about halfway through the second. I’ve been considering these ideas for months now. And these things keep shoving themselves in front of my attention. I’ve gone and read. And I’ve considered the ideas. And still they present themselves. Which, according to my past experience, means this: It is not enough to read and ponder, I have to share.

I hate that part the most. I can ponder whatever crazy idea I want in the privacy of my own brain. But sharing the nuttiness? Oh my. That’s entirely different.

So, here I am, sharing, hoping that this is sufficient for His purposes. Hoping that I can finish the one book and then move on to something else, and not have these things vying for my ever wandering attention. I have presented to you the idea that America, like Ancient Israel, is a Nation Under Covenant with God, and that means that we have responsibilities and duties to uphold, or else the pattern of Isaiah 9:10 will continue out to the finish.

Let’s hope we get things back on track before that happens.

28 June 2012, St. Irenaeus of Lyons

Big News Day. See below for some SCOTUS and Colorado Fire coverage.

Let’s get to the rest:

The House votes 255-67 to hold Eric Holder in contempt. Ace writes that since 17 Dems voted for contempt, that means it’s a bipartisan move. And:“The Democrats staged a walk out. From WI and IN to the House of Representatives, when Democrats don’t get their way they walk away like spoiled little brats.”

UPDATE: Missed this earlier– Fulton Sheen declared “Venerable”. Heck to the yeah, man! Next step, Beatification!

A Hunt is afoot . . .

So, I’m on the trail of something. It started with noticing some similarieties between the Koran (as understood through the Doctrine of Abrogation), the commonly accepted Hadith, and Crowley’s The Book of the Law and it’s commentary. When reading the commentaries (not at all a pleasant thing), I found some similarities also to what passes for certain strands of progressive thought.

I’ve found one connection, but it’s tenuous and. . . late, chronologically speaking. I may well be asking for some help with finding the connections. I’m almost certain there’s something here that needs finding. The connections would have happened in the beginning of the 20th Century, through the ’60’s.

An Effing Huge Pack, Not a Herd

There’s been trouble, lately. Yessir, right here in Righty City. But it ain’t pool. It’s Strategy. The Rightosphere is in a bit of a tussle right now, people bickering back and forth over the importance of the Utter Lack of Documentation of Teh Won, which is to say, The Traitor In The Oval Office Issue.

To side 1, we have the likes of Glenn Beck and other well-known Conservatives who believe that the whole thing  is a waste of time, and a distraction– even if all the theories are true. They believe that this is taking our focus off what they consider to be the Big Issue– The Deliberate Tanking of Our Economy To Create Slaves Plan. They believe that every moment spent pondering the legitimacy of the Occupier is a moment not spent pondering the AntiChrist’s Vicar-on-Earth, George Soros

To Side 2, we have such highly esteemed writers as Ann Barnhardt and other bloggers of quality (BigFurHat, ITookTheRedPill, etc . . .) who maintain that this Fraud-In-Chief Issue is the keystone that, if broken upon the world–and acted upon– destroys completely the Create Slaves Plan. They believe that ignoring this issue is destroying the Constution just as surely as perpetrating the fraud itself.

There is a third side, standing outside the ring, watching this and saying “This infighting is exactly according to the Create Slaves Plan . . .”

But overall, 2 sides. Who is right?

Well, not to be Jesuitical about it (I was trained by the best, though!). . . both are correct, in as far as they go. However, one is a little more mistaken in it’s premise than the other– Side 1.

Here’s where I respectfully disagree with Beck, Allahpundit, Morrisey, and other fine people. There is the sense, in their argument, that the Tea Party/ Conservative mass, can only focus on one thing at a time. That there is a Single Big Issue that we can focus on, and everything else must be secondary, at best. In their minds, the Tea Party is something akin to maybe a herd or hive mind, working as one, with one goal and one plan. One upon a time, they would have been right. When there was only the MSM for news, when proper channels meant something, when political parties actually served a purpose, I think this was a very accurate understanding. Most people can only devote all their energy to one thing. But things have changed.

For one, of course, is the rise of alternative media– far beyond Limbaugh and G Gordon Liddy of the mid ’90s. The internet has exploded the sources and channels of news and communication. The narrative, despite the efforts of many, is not controlled. It flows on its own, driven by the people who click and read and follow links. Second, partially due to this new freedom of information across the country, the political parties are mostly redundant (at best), or otherwise entirely useless. There are no parties, really, anymore. The Democrats were eaten by the Socialists and Anarchists, and the Republicans–if they’re lucky– will be subsumed by the Tea Party. Finally, with all the training this generation and younger has had with multi-tasking, we’re far better at it. We can follow several issues at once. One still puts a larger chunk of energy toward one issue over others, but this doesn’t mean that a ton of people putting in somewhat smaller efforts won’t have the same effect. An Army of Davids armed with Post-its may be able to do more than Glenn Beck with a microphone. Put this with the newfreedom of communication and information, and we are no longer simply a herd, to be steered by the Lead Stallion.

No, we are a pack. A Massive, huge, ginormous Pack. We all specialize in different things, but we still work as a great big team. Think: An army that works like a wolf–or velociraptor– pack.

Imagine this. There is a Princess held captive at the top of a mountain. At a certain time, she is going to be sacrificed to the Devil– it’s up to you to save her in time. Your way is blocked by orcs, goblins, trolls, and other nasty things. But, in a small temple on a neighboring mountain is a The Sword of Truth, a blade that, if you get it, will slay all your opponents for you, and will also carry you up the mountain. It, however, is guarded by dragons and balrogs. And time is ticking. What do you do?

Side 1 says “Forget the stupid sword! Rescue the Effing Princess!”

Side 2 says “Me and what army? Oh yeah, that army. Hey, Delta Teams 1,5,7, Ranger Squads Bravo, Charlie and Gamma– you all, go get that sword and bring it back to us! Delta Teams 2,3,8 and Ranger Squads Alpha, Sigma, Epsilon– build a helicopter. The rest of you– start killing orcs already!”

Start the rescue immediately. And go for the Sword of Truth. Do both.

Look, the post it campaign probably won’t have much luck with BC-themed post its. It’s too esoteric at the moment. But that doesn’t mean this Truth shouldn’t be pursued. Truth should always be pursued. These anomalies must be caught now, analyzed and understood. Even if they don’t bear fruit for several years– if we wait to pursue, memories fade, details (perhaps damning) slip away. Catch everything you can, now, and sort it out. Let us build this understanding so that when we have that chance, we have our sh!t together and ready to go. Such windows are often small and fleeting. Let’s make sure we can grab it when it comes.

In the meantime, without missing a beat, we can also talk to our neighbors and the people in the grocery checkout line. We can leave pointed little post-its and do everything we can to get people on board. We can show them the economic trouble as it relates to them and start bringing them over. We can confront the corruption in the schools.

How do you think we got in this mess to begin with? You had a large mass of people, attacking America from every conceivable angle. If they can do it, so can we, only in reverse. We can attack these Treasonous Sons of Whores from every possible angle, all the time. Keep hammering, from every direction, over and over and over. Don’t let up.

Save The Princess. Get the Sword. Do it all.

Federal Reserve Press Conference

I’m looking for a transcript to post, but haven’t found one yet. And don’t have the time tonight to write one up myself.

Just remember, this guy is going to say whatever he thinks he needs to say to get you to stop looking at the Fed. Oh, we’re not that powerful! Yes, we’re as concerned as you are! No, there won’t be a QE3, of course not!

This guy can’t be trusted any more than Cousin Lucius when the Aurors come and ask him about possible Death Eater activity.

Now, if only we had some ruddy Veritaserum . . .

UPDATE: Thanks to the good folk at Zerohedge.com, the Transcript (and a couple of bonus word clouds).

The Scum He Is

Ok, pure and simple, strait up truth for a moment: The Current Prez, the man known to the world as Barak Hussein Obama, is a Traitor to his country. At best. Either that, or the BC just (finally!) released is a forgery, and the man’s an enemy combatant.

These are our choices. We know that he is destroying the Unites States of America. Only the blinkered 20% that actually believed that OJ didn’t do it still believe this guy is doing anything positive for the country. I think, though, that we also know that he is doing this destruction quite deliberately. This is so very clear, and the only reason the Big Conservative Names aren’t saying this is denial—Normalcy Bias taken to an extreme situation.

Look, it’s not about the BC. That was only the first thing that got a few inquisitive minds searching. It’s his whole life, the lack of documentation for things the official story written by Mr. Ayers in Dreams From My Father. Starting with oddities surrounding the BC, through the massive amounts of fraud during the 2008 Democratic Primaries. There are reams of questions, conflicts and things that just don’t quite work out. Since his inauguration, the one pattern that has been made clear in the decisions of himself and his administration are: If it helps America, don’t allow it. If it harms America, make it law.

Gates was the last man standing, but he’s gone now, replaced by Leon Panetta. I’d had some hopes for Hillary being the adult in the White House, but she seems to have caved in to the administration. Or, she was with the plan all along and fooled a lot of people.

Let’s assume that O is a citizen of the US. Benefit of the doubt and all that. That makes him a traitor. One does not impeach traitors, one arrests them, tries them, and sentences them. One does not allow him to sit at the Resolute Desk for another hour while Congress proceeds with the impeachment hearings—one goes in with a team and hand cuffs the guy and perp. walks him out the South Lawn to a holding cell, while having the VP take the Oath of Office—if he is not led away in chains as well.

Who can do this? Who can decide this, and take appropriate action? Usually, I’d say Department of Justice would be the best bet. But since Eric Holder is also a Traitor (by way of deliberate dereliction of duty and efforts to destroy the US Constitution), DoJ is hamstrung. If DoJ cannot help, cannot enforce the law. . . there is no one. The Military has the ability—but there’s reason to believe that many (Many, certainly not all) officers ranked above Lt. Col. are compromised. Even if they weren’t, their actions would result in—if only for a few days—a military dictatorship. This is not something any member of our Military wants. It would be a betrayal of their very nature to do institute such a thing, no matter how brief it was. So the Military is between a rock and a hard place and, short of a miracle, unable to come to our aid.

What can the rest of us do? Yes, yes, keep the pressure up on the politicians currently in office, and certainly do everything we can toward the vote in 2012. And yes, I absolutely believe that those who are investigating the Traitor-in-Chief’s past should continue to do so—every bit of information is needed. But beyond this? What can we do?

In the first draft of this post, the next line was: “I don’t know.”

But, Providence Provides, Ask and ye shall find. My friend Ytz4me posted a comment in the OT over at The Last Refuge, when talking about leaving post-its on gas pumps with messages for the public. Here it is for you:

This idea is gathering legs….. so much so, that the Obots are now showing up to “advise” people that they shouldn’t do this because it would be “vandalism”.

Lol. Really? A non-permanent sticky note is now “vandalism” ??

Part of the charade is to continue to make people believe that they are alone in their dissent and/or dissatisfaction with the ruling class. They need to isolate you and make you feel YOU are the outlier.

This has been written about extensively in various professional military training manuals. It has also been the subject of many papers, where to outsiders, the “sudden collapse” of an oppressive regime catches them by surprise.

The reason for the “sudden collapse” is that the group knowledge finally reached a tipping point, where the “dissenters” realize that they are the MAJORITY, not the minority as the Regime would have them believe.

Sticky notes, as advocated at gas pumps, represent what is known as

“Counter propaganda”.

They are important for several reasons, distilling snippets from a few professional publications on Resistance Movements, Guerilla Warfare Manuals (both building a guerilla movement AGAINST an existing regime, or strategies for COUNTERING a growing guerilla movement) etc.

Several themes seem to flow through all of these “manuals” :

1. It is important (for the counter-Regime forces) to maintain belief in final victory.

2. Large numbers of [counter propaganda] appearing night after night, will make the enemy nervous and raise the self-confidence of the population since such activities demonstrate the inefficiency of the existing regime and the power and strength of the resistance movement.

3. Whenever practical, guerilla forces use non-electronic means to communicate.

4. It is a principle of political science that it is easier to persuade people to vote against something or someone than to persuade them to vote in favor of something or someone.

The momentum is in our favor. Do not be deterred!

Here’s how some other commenters say one can do it:

JRD says: I have HP paper that has an adhesive on one side. I designed the post it using Microsoft Office Publisher and then printed it out and cut them with a paper cutter. Yes, it took a lot of time but I’ve got “fire in my belly.” What can I say, I’m a passionate Italian!

Here’s a handy image from C4P for the Palin Fans: http://img600.imageshack.us/i/stickyd.jpg/

Here are some Grocery store examples:http://yourdaddy.net/2011/04/25/the-sticky-note-campaign-hits-georgia-supermarkets/

Finally. a few more words from Ytz4me:

I continue to speed-read and try to simpify and distill what is applicable to our current situation.

I’ll tell ya tho, I’m getting STEAMED b/c so much of what is advocated to suppress and demoralize a population is EXACTLY WHAT WAS USED IN THE 2008 campaign, and CONTINUES to be used against us — and the corporate media are their handmaidens! Grrrrr……

The “sticky-note” strategy is just an updated version of counter-propaganda campaigns that have been used by resistance movements pre-WWII. Typically, it was small leaflets or “coupons” mimeographed and slipped into books in libraries, on store shelves (where they could be mistaken for coupons, not information).

In the modern age, people can list various blogs/websites where people can get more info. I continue to be shocked and amazed at the number of young people who aren’t aware of sites like shadow stats, etc.

So, this is what we do. We keep pushing, keeping getting the word out, keep the awareness up. We let people know about good sites and blogs– Shadowstats, the Bigs, PJM, Daily Caller, all those places that have real news and information for people. We point out the obvious: These price hikes brought to you by the Letter O.

We cannot arrest this man. But we can make damn sure that everyone sees him for the scum he is.

UPDATE: Wraith pointed out a post he wrote like, months ago. I’m so far behind on this!

Let’s Connect a Few Things

The Left is fond of proclaiming “We’re all connected!”, and then proceeding to behave as though every person and action were entirely independant and unrelated. I’ve noticed over the past few days a fair number of stories that do connect. some of which only from certain perspectives. Just look at them in context with each other, that’s all I ask.

Many of the links that follow are stories that were covered by The Conservative Treehouse, or by the commentors at that site in various threads. Most of the credit for finding these things goes to them.

SOROS ALERT. My cash grain broker source sent me notification while I was in Oklahoma that the evil man who is actually controlling the White House (with and through the twin witches Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama) has purchased another HUGE grain elevator company and SOROS is now the THIRD LARGEST grain company behind only Cargill and ADM. Here is the text of the Reuters story:
Gavilon to buy Union Elevator PNW grain elevators

* Gavilon acquisition allows it to support PNW export mkt
* Elevator purchase equates to 8.4 million bushel capacity
CHICAGO , March 24 (Reuters) – U.S. grain firm Gavilon Grain said on Thursday it will buy Union Elevator and Warehouse’s 16 grain elevators in the Pacific Northwest , the company’s second big purchase of U.S. grain facilities in the last six months. Privately held Union Elevator, where employees own a significant share of the company, approved the transaction on Wednesday, with sale expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2011.
The purchase of 16 elevators at 12 locations in eastern Washington will expand Gavilon’s grain capacity by 8.4 mbu.
“The addition of Union Elevator’s grain facilities and origination capabilities position us well to support the growing Pacific Northwest export wheat market and serve the Columbian Basin feed grain market,” Greg Konsor, VP and GM of Gavilon Grain, said in a statement. The PNW is the No. 1 wheat export terminal in the United States .
Omaha, Nebraska-based Gavilon — a commodity trading firm formed in 2008 when ConAgra Foods sold it to investors — purchased grain handler DeBruce Companies last year, making it the third-largest U.S. grain storage network behind ADM and Cargill Inc.

This is BAD, BAD NEWS, kids. George Soros is Gavilon. As I say over and over again at my schools, he who controls the FOOD controls EVERYTHING. And George Soros is rapidly maneuvering to control the food in this country. Everyone remember the name GAVILON. I promise that it is just a matter of time before he makes a move for cattle feeding capacity. ANY CATTLEMAN OR FEEDLOT WHO SELLS OUT TO GAVILON/SOROS WILL BE A TRAITOR TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ITS CONSTITUTION AND ITS PEOPLE. Let’s see who the first one is. I have some educated guesses . . .

Each set has stories that relate to each other, even if not obviously. Put these things together, please. What you see is not the architectural blueprints for the Kingdom of Heaven. Think about that for a little while.

For just over a month, now, the echoing whisper of “Pigford” has drifted down into the dungeons. A little information was found– settlements for lawsuits rife with fraud and paid with taxpayer dollars. But, the other whisper that came with that name was “Breitbart will be addressing this, soon. . .”

Well, and so he has. BigGovernment (ed. Yes, there was a typo before, fixed it) today is overflowing with Pigford. (Emphasis mine)

I stumbled on the Pigford story in my defense of the Tea Party, so it’s a sweet irony that the Pigford story is exactly the kind of mess that makes the Tea Party so necessary. Politicians and trial attorneys bonded together to rip off the taxpayer, and even those farmers that were discriminated against were royally screwed.

Let me be clear, our investigation convincingly leads us to believe the USDA practiced discrimination against black farmers. Those wrongs must be rectified. But Pigford is wrought with a grotesque amount of fraud, while the truly aggrieved were mostly left high and dry.

The Pigford tale is about government run amok. It is also an indictment of the American media that is so blinded by ideology that it missed the big story yet again because taking out a political enemy was far more expedient. And furthermore it is why the American people need the Tea Party and new media as a checks and balances on corrupt politicians and their corrupt journalist counterparts.
